The late De Wayne Fulton (1932-1997) was one of the giants of “harpdom”. His unique style and the diversity of music he performed put him in a class by himself. He had mastered the standard harp repertoire as a youngster. The rest of his life was spent trail blazing, using his flare for improvisation and imaginative arrangements to adapt popular music and world folk music for solo harp. He broke all of the rules and combined these musical styles in performance to the delight of audiences world wide. |
